7900xtx driver timeout

The game crashes every 30 minutes with driver timeout. Does anyone else have this problem ?

You have a pretty similar system as mine, in single player i've had some random crashes especially in the shark cave where the rebreather is but in multiplayer it was crashing often near our base.

i fixed my driver timeout issue issue on my power color 7900xtx i just had to remove overclock an i haven't crashed in about 6 hrs max settings 1440p

I have a 5700XT, 5800X, 64gb Ram. No issues on my end.

I'm running the latest Radeon drivers AND I've done a BIOS update on my MoBo a few months back to resolve a different issue. It COULD be a MoBo BIOS issue if you've already tried everything else. That seems to be the one thing that's more of a pain in the ass that people don't update.

I have almost exactly the same setup,:
5900x
X570 MSI MEG ACE BIOS 7C35v1J (not the latest since they just released an update today)
XFX Merc 310 7900XTX v23.2.2
RAM 64GB

Windows 11 and Windows 10
@Ultra settings 1440p Ultrawide 3120x1440

I was having the exact same issues, game crashing and BSOD my windows 11 system about 6 times (when trying to drink water from a stream was the exact scenario that caused the issues) @Ultra settings 1440p Ultrawide 3120x1440

On my windows 10 system (different partition same hardware) I had the same issues until I turned the GFX fidelity down to medium then I was able to drink, moved to high settings and then would crash just walking in a pond (all of the above tests done in Multiplayer mode with a friend hosting and 5 players on the Host)

Then switched everything to Ultra settings 1440p and single player mode and didn't crash for about an hour and a half until randomly walked over a stream and crashed.

I've played in multiplayer for 9 hours where my friend was the host, the game worked perfectly fine for me. However, today I tried to start a new game in single player and the game will freeze within the first 5mins and amd driver time's out.

cpu 5600x
gpu Red devil 7900xtx
32gb ram 3200MHz
1tb ssd

I played for a good 5 to 6 hours straight yesterday and the only problem I had was I needed to max the game out to get full GPU utilization, which is kind of understandable for 4k gaming. Like literally 4k ultra everything is maxed out. I haven't had any time outs as of yet

i just uninstalled all the graphics card drivers and then was able to play for 3 hrs and now it just crashed again. seems random somehow. How can I remove the overclock I have the XFX Speedster MERC 310 Radeon RX 7900 XTX Black Edition, 24GB resolution 1440p i

same gpu here. same issue.

Worked fine for an hour in singleplayer, but in multiplayer crashed within 1-10min.
