Different spawn locations at start of the game

Before closing your laptop, simply look out the window and grasp an idea on where you want to spawn near. Once you found an ideal location, simply close the laptop and the helicopter will crash around the desired location. I ended up in the snowy mountains and it was a different cut scene.

I didn’t realize you can wait out the cutscene for specific landings. I thought they’re all randomized.

I had no idea until I just randomly closed the laptop when I was near the snowy mountains! :)

no matter how many minutes i wait before closing the laptop, even if all the area around me is jungle or beach, once the crashing starts i teleport to snow mountain
also did a test, first minute and 10 minute wait, both snow

I get snowy mountains no matter what. Would like to be in the forest but it wont spawn me there... I don't think you know what you're talking about.

it's not based on difficulty or when you close the laptop, it's just pure luck
seems like restarting the game fixes it if you're getting same starting area

I always end up on a beach no matter where i close the laptop

So after some testing and roughly 10 tries to get another biome than the snow biome in solo play, I found that closing steam then rebooting the game spawned me in the forest.

Might just be a bug that is causing this but hope this helps.

I tried that but literally did nothing waited like 5 minutes, I think I am locked to the mountain snow spawn for some reason.

Yeah same to me i know it's good spawn location but i need something different! I tried like 10 times and in one i waited almost 15 minutes, but i still spawn at beach!

You can hold S to skip the intro, I've discovered. Much faster than closing the laptop. I've landed both in the forest and on the beach, haven't landed in the mountains yet.

For me it doesn't matter what I do, if I skip the cut scene, I've even closed the laptop at every different point I still only spawn in the snow mountain.

1st thing you need to do is lick your finger, then stick in electrical outlet. If you feel a spark, You learned a new ability ;)

Nope restarded the game. tried everything and cant get the snow spawn
