I don't think so, gave her the pistol and she has been shooting cannibals left and right, when she isn't running around in a mindless circle anyway. Guestimate would be she fired at least 50 rounds during playtime last night and no ammo was used/needed.

Ok yeh I played last night and she seemed to use no ammo

Yeah she doesnt use ammo but shes also not that great a shot either.

Nope. Not that I could tell, anyway.

Me and my friend decided to share the ammo we used - he stuck with the shotgun and I tossed all my shotgun ammo into his inventory, and I stuck with the pistol and he tossed all of his pistol ammo into my inventory. I then gave Virginia my shotgun and he gave her his pistol, with no ammo loaded into the guns presumably and no spare ammo handed over either.

She had ammo anyway and began blasting cannibals the moment she encountered them with relish...you'd constantly hear gunshots in the distance as she went about defending the perimeter, was pretty cool. Never seem to run out of ammo.

You can find multiple pistols and shotguns in the game too, so don't feel bad about handing over yours if you feel like it. Just don't hand them over with attachments installed, or you'll lose them, currently.

I confirm she start shoot better with time. Just sometimes she can't keep distance and gets knocked out, what worries me most.

yes you can she holds the pistol with her extra arm and the shotgun yeah well just like a normal person ^^
