MIC AUDIO NOT WORKING

the second im playing the game all mic audio is cut to discord, can hear but can't speak to anyone and is fixed the second I tab out of the game, anyone know of a workaround?

Im having the same issue. only happens when the server is launched. Incredibly frustrating.

Yeah my mic is not working at all. My friend's mic worked and we were in a private voice call at the same time. Would have been nice if the game had an actual option to choose which mic to use as I got several things like a cam and VR headset connected and it might just choose the wrong one and it messes up, even if the audio would come from any of those but it doesn't.

My friend and I have the same problem.
Everything works fine for me.
For him, no voice chat (discord, steam, etc.) transmits his voice as soon as he starts the game. He can still hear me though.
We have already deactivated all other microphones and tried it with an old headset but it did not work.
I hope there will be a patch or an ingame option soon so that you can hear each other ingame when you stand 10 meters apart without using the walkie.

Make sure your mic is default or standard in windows options... helped me atleast. It just try to pick up my other mic i don´t really use.

Hi I read.on the internet that in the game you have to use the radio that is in the game not tried it yet.but going to tonight in the game you have to the radio out like you do with the lighter and t to talk

Yes used the radio and it works but you both. Have to use radio at the same time if one of you don't have the radio in there hand it will not work

just died in a cave after my mate changed his audio to his mic not headset, once we respawned in the goo his mic was working, test it out lets see if it works without changing audio and with etc, tested with a second friend, you just have to respawn once to get your mic to work

Same issue with me, why does the audio settings not have a mic input option, I think this would help. Very frustrating and I am a disappointed customer.

You can fix this by going to sound setting on windows and selecting the microphone you want to use as default, hope this helps
