He was injured during the accident and his speech center basically got FUBARed, brain damaged basically. Other parts of his brain may also be damaged from it, I mean from what I seen in this thread blood coming out of someones ears is NEVER a good sign. He's mute, maybe partially deaf and thats why your char uses the notepad to communicate. Don't exactly wanna be yelling in that situation not knowing whats out there.
