Dry rack?

So to preserve food or fish and raw meat do I cook it then hang it on the dry rack or hang the raw meat in the rack??? Winter is coming

I've just been eating meat raw, no side effects so far will update with more research

Just hang the raw meat/fish on the dry rack, should be done in like a day.

hang it on the dry rack, remember you can tell your follower to "get" fish for quick and easy meat, they pull the fish from nowhere at any nearby stream.

And the meat will stay good once it's dry? Trying to save as much food now for the winter. Also anyone know how to fish

Mine took like 3 days! Need to return this thing back to the manufacturer.

Maybe it depends on the kind of meat? Mine was just fish and small animals, no deer or anything like that.
I didn't stop it but 1,5 days max to dry for me.

Can't say if it will never go bad but for sure longer than cooked meat.
I don't play long enough to have really tested it myself. I can just say it lasts for a couple of days.
