But I also really like the direction they are going with the manual building system. They are planning to add back a lot of building mechanics, like you said. Let's hope it's soon
I actually like the change? I can certainly see why people will dislike it though, but at least its not just pre-built blueprints which are going to look the same for everyone.
I wouldn't stress too much though, I assume they will add in blueprints in a later update.
I seriously do not like that people expect a fully functional game day 1 of EA. You are literally paying for alpha and beta testing a product for a lesser price, that's it.

That being said I do enjoy the new building system. I'm sure it's not done yet, it'll get better/change/fixed over time, but I absolutely love the immersion it brings.
And when it gets tiresome, you can swap to the old one.
I hope they develop both styles.
