Im currently running this game at 30 to 40 fps with everything set to medium or high on a i5-4670K, 16 ddr3 corsair vengeance, GTX 970 and 1TB HDD. so i think that definitely needs updating, my specs are much worse than the set minimum, i was expecting the game to be unplayable with my current specs but it actually works really well.

30 to 40 FPS is playable to most people.. Are you expecting 60 and higher on a CPU that's archaic and a GPU 4 gens behind? AND on a hard drive of all things?

the minimum specs are for running the game at minimum in 1920x1080 at 60 FPS

What he is trying to say is that he is getting playable FPS even with his low spec pc which is good for low budget players , as for the minimum requirements criteria the Devs set those criteria by testing on the system they currently have,
so if they had 1060 as the lowest system in their studio they will set that system as minimum specs.

minimize requirements just support the launch of the game, but you may have low fps when playing. Try lagofast fps booster, my friends and I happened to use it and it works perfect for increasing my fps.

You know what MINIMUM requirement means, do you?
It's the minimum you need in order to run the game at all and hit 30 fps at least.

It does NOT mean that you're going to get a good performance,

Therefore you should feel happy getting more than 30 FPS on your 10 year old Hardware when playing modern games.

If you want more, you need to upgrade.
so the only thing in need of updates might be your System here.

Minimum requirements are 90% of the time tied to a 30fps 720p experience, not 60fps on 4k. Also if your still running games on a HDD and complaining about performance that's your fault.

Yeah, I got a 2060 and its on an ssd and it's still just as bad for me. Even with the graphics as low as they can go, aside from textures which are at half because any lower makes the booklet unreadable.
