Extremely low FPS help??

I have
4070 Ti
AMD Ryzen 9 3900x
64 GB ram
but I am only getting 15-30 FPS even on Ultra Low settings??
Adjusting the in-game video settings, resolution, fps cap, effects, etc seems to do nothing at all. Can I get any help? Am I missing something?

I am happy for you, but that won't help troubleshooting issues at all.


SOLVED: My BIOS version was before the one added specifically to support the 4000 series cards. Updating the BIOS gets me over 100 FPS on max settings, now.

It's poorly optimized. I have 20-40 fps no matter what config, low high or ultra. Useless. So I play in ultra because at low I get the same fps lmao

Low fps even on GPU's like 4090 sounds crazy.
It must be heavily CPU bound game ( somewhat like Tarkov which also runs on Unity and GPU's barely has any impact on fps ) or there's driver issue and fix will be released soon by Nvidia.

Meanwhile me with old af 980Ti + R5 2600 having no issues also pushing reasonable 60+ fps for such GPU. Hogwarts Legacy is far worse optimized for my specs, running on NVMe constant freezing/fps drops n ♥♥♥♥.

i get around 60 to 70 on average with a 3060 ti, i9, 16 gb ram ect, although still underwhelming ig but weird how i’d get more then others that have like a 4090 and more ram then me

I have an i5 10500 with gtx 1650 and 16gb and and capped at 30fps. It ran the original at almost 100fps and Subnautica at 70fps. Can't believe the drop with this game.

same i have 4090+12700k and only getting 70fps max throughout low to ultra. did you find a fix?

Yes, it was all about bottleneck. Now with a system which can support a 4090 performance things are nice, really nice. But it is frightening : the power if the bottleneck. Wow.

this game is somehow weird? 55FPS when i allrdy play a bit but at start i run 70-90. When i use once my inventory it gets lower FPS. When i check my GPU & CPU usage early ingame its using 100% GPU and noch so much CPU but when i play a bit or open my inventory the Usage from both are 50-55% i dont understand why. Even when i lower the graphics or higher back it doesnt affect anything...

huh ? i have 4090 to with a i7-13700K and run everything on max in 4k, have 140-150 fps, and in rare moments it can dive to 130

Settings doesnt do anything, ultra low = 35-40 fps, ultra = 35-40 fps

Updated windows and now i get 90+ fps on 1440p
Dunno why one windows update would have such an impact or if the game just was being weird to me yesterday

What? I'm running this with a 1060 6GB on a system with 12900KF, 32GB DDR5, NVME and Windows 11 Pro. Waiting for new GPU, but decided to give it a try. It's runnign somewhat around 60fps (TAAU 100) on a 3840x1600 resolution and mix of low/medium/high settings.

i7 8700k all 12 cores active+ over 4ghz and 2080ti all paired with 16gb of ram. My game is running on a hdd. 1080p without dlss everything ultra maxed out around 70-80 fps somtimes a little over 90. 1440p without dlss around 60-80 sometimes dips a bit below 60 like 55-57. What the fk is happening here with 4090 users having nearly the same fps as my old timer pc lmao
