Axe dissapearing bug

My game bugged, it equipped both an axe and a mushroom and I could not do anything to put it back so i had to leave the game. I left the game and joined back, it fixed the mushroom but my axe was gone, completely missing from my inventory

Guys i found an fix.All you need to do is let a cannibal hit you then your item will debug and you will hold the item you wanted to pick out of your inventory.

had the exact same thing just now , lost my axe but most importantly lost my freaking GPS tracker, so cant see the big map anymore ..........
