Stick wont leave my hand.

I cant do anything with the stick.
I cant open my inventory.
I cant unequip the stick.
I can only walk around and look at places where I can place my stick but never actually do it.

Please help.

Restart game, I got this issue in multiplayer once. Don't hold E to pick up sticks right in your hands to avoid it I guess.

yeah i just encountered the same issue, except it was also for a soda and a rock, i seemed to have multiple items get stuck in my hand, and now i cannot do anything at all. IT IS NOT JUST THE STICK.

Just as a note- I was able to resolve it by continuing through the cave I was in, and picking up other items until it replaced them with a cloth in my hand and I was able to access inventory again~! hope that helps anyone who runs into this issue

Found an easy solution, just hold down e on one of your workers and give him an order. Then you should be able to open your inventory

I also had this bug, interactables may "restart" the player state, at least for me, opening a fire restored fully my character status and allowed to manage inventory or attack

*note, not sure, but I guess this may be related to player health reaching a "0" value, not a -1 or something lower. (that would kill us)

You just need to hold E on some other item, it replace the stick in ur hand and u can acces your inventory again. I fixed it like this

my problem is when i try to open GPS and yea its the same

I have this prob occasionally, seems to happen more often with 2h weapons, expecially with the spear, I usually unequip (default 'G' button) whatever in my hand to lessen the prob.
