Has anyone figured out what to do with the gps tracker???

I have two of them, and im guessing you can use them as way points, but i have NO clue how to place them

you can place them on characters like the three legged woman that follows you around. That is the only use I have found so far

You seem to have gained her trust, how? I've been trying to throw her food, not scare her off and allow her to come naturally. Heck, I even killed skinnies she was afraid of..

If you place a stick in the ground you can place the gps tracker on top to mark that location on your GPS with a icon.

Place them on top of stick markers to make GPS points.

whenever she shows up i would just stand still and let her approach me until she would just wander away and once i got a gps locator she appeared again and just came up to me and dropped blue berries and i was able to interact with her.

Around day 6 she seems to be pretty chill. She now sits by me and no longer runs away.

get closer to her until she signs to back off then slowly go backwards until she starts walking normally again, then go a few steps in front of her and get closer until she signs to back off
sometimes she will run away how far seems random, follow her at a safe disctance to repeat

This game is a JOKE the combat is HORRIBLE!

once she trusts you she hangs out around you if youre in one place and randomly brings you plants or game animals ect you can also give her a gun which is nice for home defense

I was thinking the use probably place on wall or something. my guess is correct here
