Browsing this discussion board, I didn't even know there was an alternative spawn to the one in the mountains. Like the fifth time loading a new game, and has ALWAYS been in the mountains.

Delete the "SonsOfTheForest" folder in this path "C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight" and this will fix the error.

The spawn depends on where on the map you activated the laptop. If you activated your laptop at the beginning of the flight, you will end up on the beach. Just fly further and activate the laptop, then you will spawn somewhere else.

To quickly get into appdata, press the key combination WIN + R and write in the input field APPDATA

Yeah i only played 2 games on normal and both spawned me up on the snowy mountain.

The first game i navigated to the beach spawn but combo native raids, low food sources and always tired and wounded i started a second game, only this time i got lost and couldnt find the same beach.

I strongly believe where you activate the laptop has no correlation to spawn location. I have tried 10+ times to get a new spawn, and have gotten the mountain spawn 100% of the time. I've tried waiting to activate the laptop, I've tried changing the difficulty, but the only thing that seems to change it, is when someone else hosts the lobby (Not ideal if you want to play a solo playthrough).

Restart your game until it comes (not from the main menu, you have to close the game and restart it), no need to wait with the helicopter flight, when you have the mountain spawn, forest spawn, beach spawn, make a tent as fast as possible and save, backup the save.. that's what I did to get the beach start.
(I actually tried this several times, the helicopter flight DOES NOT determine the spawn point, starting the game does)

the spawnpoint literally DOES NOT MATTER currently. all 3 are on the northwestern part of the map and all 3 are close enough to each other than you can just walk over in less than 1 day.
people waste time with this crap for no good reason.

I had 2 different spawn points, 2 at the beach one normal mode other custom, and 1 spawn in the forest also normal mode
