Once i kill a few jumpers, the whole herd was running at me down the hill... ♥♥♥♥ hell no.
If you move around more they'll lose you, this game seems to have the "heat" system from the first game. The longer you spend in one spot over days will attract them I think. I went down to the beach and then came back up and I've seen far less of them. Also made multiple fires/outposts so I don't always have to sleep in the same place.

Sort by "Date modified", look for your most recent save folder.
Open GameSetupSaveData.json with Notepad or Notepad++.
Search for "Peaceful" and change it to "Normal"

Ok another thing, i copied my custom made "GameSetupSaveData" from another save, and just added this whole line to the into the text file, and it started working.
