How to place a stick marker?

I'm trying to mark caves/places I've already explored but I couldn't find anything in the survival book. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me how to :D

Around 10-15, honestly can't tell. You get 3 from dead soldiers, then 10 (or so) from the point of interests which are also dead soldiers (blue question mark icon) and construction workers (orange icon with a wrench).

I've found nine (or maybe 10; I've used several already) so far.

We just make a basic aluminum foil tarp saving spot and that creates a yellow house icon on the map.
