Just domt hit or hurt her, dont run up to her. And eventually she will give you an item, mime was some berries, and after that i was able to equip her with weapons by pressing and holding E on her

Once she spawns she'll circle your camp, after a couple days she gets comfortable enough to get closer to your camp occasionally sitting and dancing in front of you, a day later and she will attempt to give you berries.
A few more days and she will just fully walk up to you, whereas she is recruited and you can give her items.
Summed up she will be automatically tamed if you don't attack her, I'm on day 7 and she is fully tamed.

Unlike Kelvin, it doesn't seem you can currently order her to do anything, let alone speak with her.
So for the time being she is quite useless and only serves as a guard.

She just randomly walks up to you from what I noticed and assuming if you don’t harm her then she’ll slowly start warming up to you. I had her run up on me a few times in the dark, the 2nd time I just stood still and she got all up in my face then ran away lol.

Yes, you can have both Kelvin and Virginia. I know this because I found out on another save during multi-player mode. She was tamed, followed me around, had a GPS tracker, and eventually was shooting cannibals while Kelvin ran away from danger lol

If you gave her a tracker you will see that she does follow you around, but very very slowly. She kind of hangs around bases more and is like your guard.

Yes sometimes she just leaves, you can place a tracker on her, sometimes she stays at a specific point because she wants to show you something…
