How to cook fish with spear

When you catch fish with a spear, how do put the fish in the bag or cook it at the campfire? Pressing any button the fish just disappears?

I have other question. Where did you found fish? All i've got is a Moose which is impossible to kill and some turtles. (And berries and shroms)

Press E once (don't hold) to store the fish in your inventory. Hold E over a burning fire to add the fish from your inventory to the fire and wait until it cooks.

Down by the beach, there's fish in the shallow water, you can spear them.

If you start at the snow biome, fish can be found right there, in a small stream at the crash site. But they are everywhere, just look for streams and rivers.

Thank you. I now have the fish in my inventory, but when I place them in the fire the fish just disappears, like it goes under the map. Meat works fine though.

Sounds like a bug, it should do the same thing as with the meat. Try placing the fire elsewhere.
