Kelvin is down, how to heal him?

Was in a fight and i suppose Kelvin got downed by mutant, or my wild axe swingin.
He is alive but on all fours.

Yup, no idea either. The champ did bring me around 400 fish before getting knocked out by a muddy man.

Well my cabin is next to a river, but if you scroll a bit lower there is option to "fish" he then goes to the river and brings a ton of fish for you.

I think you just either finish combat or you just hold e or f on him

When that happened all I had to do was walk up to him and hold E. Maybe need to have meds in inventory?

Also im not quite sure but he might be like skyrim companions and need to be killed by you to be truly dead i was in a long fight once and he was downed for a good while but didnt die, he just got back up after combat ended.

Once he's dead, he remains dead and won't come back.
If he's injured only you may heal him by pressing "E".

Definitely a bug where the Press E to get him up prompt never showed :(
We sent him to get logs, he got hit by a fallen tree and KOd

I was playing with Kelvin and he got knocked, couldnt revive so i saved, left and rejoined and he just vanished out of existence

Also have this issue, was moving logs and smacked him with one accidentally now he's down on my doorstep with no revive option

Normally there is a revive prompt, but I have had one instance of it not being there when a companion was down. Luckily for me the prompt was there for my co-op partner.

It's possible that he's dead but isn't displaying properly. He can actually die if he takes more damage after being knocked down. And he dies permanently.
