Locking doors and keybinds

Anyone figure out how to put keybinds on tools? Also, cannibals can just walk through doors anyway to put a lock on it?

I am wondering the same thing, I keep having my little camp raided. I have a fence all around and have pointed tops but they just walk right through the front door

The closest I've gotten is that i can equip them to the backpack and hold i to bring out those options for quick selection, but no hotkey i can find.

I've watched one stander just teleport through the wall when they couldn't get inside. Soooo that may need looked at.

I haven't had any bad interactions with any of the cannibals yet, since they aren't being aggressive just yet, I can tolerate them coming into my base but I wonder what will happen when their generosity runs out.

Everything was fine and all for me too, sure those natives sometimes stole few logs every now and then but thats fine. Until one day they just started bashing my cabin walls, and now they are aggressive out of nowhere. I can't get a break from them, literally every 5 mins they spawn back.

It seems there is no way to hotkey tools currently. It'd be nice to know if it's an intended thing or not, afraid I'll have to refund if there will be no hotkeys.

There isn't a way, and I think it's intended to be that way for immersion. Instead, you can hold I to bring your backpack in front of you and quickly select an item. It's not as quick as pressing a key on your keyboard, but faster than entering the actual inventory.

There are no hotkeys just the quick access menu for items you attach to your bag. No doubt someone will make a keybind mod in the future though.

Its actually as fast as opening the normal inventory (there might not be even a single millisecond difference), i see absolutely no point in system like this. Its just the same inventory from the different angle.
