Helicopter loot?

Is there suppose to be any loot around the crashed helicopter in the water where you spawn? I didn't find anything.

i went back to heli with the rebreather and found nothing

I found nothing as well. However on the west side of the map I found an orange raft out in the middle of the water like the ocean. It was guarded by a shark, but there was also the 9mm pistol on it.
Weak vs mutants. Seems to 1 shot every cannibal in the head.

I've only spawned in the snow and there have been a few boxes you can loot. Not sure about other spawn locations and boxes.

Can confirm. And just north west of that is a cave with a bunker inside of it that has the 3D printer and a door that needs a keycard.
