How to hotkey axe????

Before it was easy, just mix the axe with the bag but now I can't figure it out?

Sadly, I don't think there are any hot keys atm...BUT if you hold your inventory button instead of tapping it, it kind of works like a hot key I guess.. it's like a shortcut to your backpack.

I dont think you can in the same way anymore. Now you can put things in your backpack but its different. To quick select an item you have to hold I or your inventory button and pick a item or weapon.

If you hold I its gives you a quicker access to things you've attached to your backpack.

However this is leaps and bounds slower than just giving us quickslots like we had before. While I'm loving the game, i'm not a fan of this particular change.

Early access or not, not implementing hotkeys or quickslots is straightforward retarded. I mean, they had to test this game a lot even before releasing as early access. Didn't they notice swapping between axe, spear and bow by constantly opening inventory is plain stupid? Also if you throw a spear and pick it up, it goes to your backpack instead to your hands, so if you want to use it you have to open inventory again.

place it on your backpack then press and hold i for quick access as well as anything else you have attached to te backpack

This needs to be implemented asap, I get that you can hold the key for your inventory to access your backpack with a "quick view" but it's not convenient, especially while trying to traverse any caves, or in the night.

I guess holding 'i' for now will be the only option. However, having weapons/items assigned on a number from your keyboard is far convenient.
