How to hotkey

I can see that you can attached items to the backpack but cant find any key to pull or get the items attached to the backpack, anyone figure this out?

Yes. Clicking the backpack in your inventory screen will add stuff to the "quick select". Then, holding the I button, you will bring up the backpack, allowing you to select whatever you have assigned to it. It is honestly slower than opening your backpack. Honestly, I'd prefer the 1, 2, 3, and 4 buttons for quick select hotkeys. Bad system.
