Unity Mods are easy to make, even without official Mod-Support. You can use Melonloader or what i prefer BepInEx

But neither ML nor BepIn do support the latest Unity version, for now ;)

Bepinex bleeding edge supports 2022.2.3f1.

WeMod pro does not restrict game use. Pro only allows players to use extra features such as remote control and direct access. otherwise, your forced to use the keybinds. Your allowed to modify the keybinds without being a PRO user as wel.

They should look at the success of ARMA. Different kind of game but they made workshop mods the whole game stay active for 10+ years.

Incorrect. All trainers they provide are free to use using hotkeys, Paying for pro allows you to adjust settings directly in the app or use the in-game overlay.

One mod I'd love to see is something that lets us summon Virginia once we've stuck her with the GPS tracker. Oh and also, one that stops the removal of weapon attachments when handing a gun to her. Last but not least, more ammo crates around the world. I have only found a total of 5 boxes of 9mm ammo and I've searched nearly every crate on the map (barring caves).

The first game did not have mods. The source code or modding tools would have to be distributed for mods to happen for this game or the last.

First one had quite a few mods, buildables and everything. So no idea what you are talking about. Even had class/rpg system and everything.
