What's your point? I didn't say no mod authors use steam workshop, I said most of them don't.
Tteardown and Garry's Mod aren't on nexusmods? You sure about that?

You didn't need to say that mod authors use nexus, also workshop support is way easier for people that are new to modding games.
They use IL2CPP instead of mono. With the latter modders can easily get a good look at how the game works.
I asked a couple of The Forest modders and most of them agree that they wont touch this game till they change to mono.
Edit: There will be mods of course. But don't expect their scope to be big. Simple cheat mods and stuff. Maybe changing some textures for nude mods. That's probably it.
