Best game server rental providers for dedicated server?

Perhaps we can get a little list going, here's some of the top providers preparing to host Sons of the Forest from my digging.

G Portal - highly recommend to stay away due to performance issues with SCUM, Conan Exiles, and Last Oasis (pretty much killed the game)

Some of the features I'd love to see at launch for private servers for Sons of the Forest..

* Steam workshop mod support, ability to add mods and create mods on day 1
* Admin settings, a list of commands that are above and beyond that of The Forest
* RCON? Would be great to remotely control the server and sent restart notifications for maintenance (especially with mods support)

GTX Gaming is going to host Sons of the Forest. I moved from Survival Servers (had issues with multiple games servers when there are more than several people online) and very satisfied with their service.

Personally, I would like to see extensive server customization options from changing enemy damage multipliers to AI behavior changes (passive, aggressive, normal etc) and more.

Survival Servers is definitely the best in my opinion, they were the quickest to launch and had the best control panel.

ServerBlend is by far the best host I've used in over 20 years of gaming online.

While they have not yet announced Sons of the Forest one of the biggest selling servers is The Forest so I have absolutely no doubt they'll host SotF too.

Also they do not use cloud hosting which that alone makes them leaps and bounds better than quite a lot of other hosting companies.

Have you ran a full server on Survival Servers? As the server reaches the slots limit, it become a lag fest and this happened for multiple games. For a small group of friends it's fine, but I don't recommend it for community or public servers.

Completely agree! I have hadservers for Ark, Scum and The forest. Never had an issue that I personally didn't cause (and fixed easily) they will be hosting SOTF server for me. I've also played on new world servers hosted by them with no issues at all. So for the OP to say gportal killed these games. That's just flat out ignorance and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Is there an App ID to download the server version of SOTF? I don't see anything on SteamDB...

So either these Hosters get a private dedicated server version from the devs, or this whole thing is just a huge clickbait or gamble that the devs will release a dedicated server option.

The providers that already have a presale say that they will refund, if Sons of Forest does not behave like The Forest and does not release a stand alone server with the release of the game.
