my man, the ksg holds 40 1.62in MINI shells, standard 3in shells it only holds 20.
Keep telling yourself that these changes and additions won't change (for the worse) the soul of SOTF is, which is already a worse version of The Forest. Thinking otherwise is coping or shilling.
I give the AR-15 a green light, but only if it's a more rare use weapon you only use when things get seriously out of control. They could make it so the gun jams or misfires to give the player a sense of 'oh crap!' when the gun decides to misfire or jam. It could be an RNG kind of thing.
IRL, you can misalign the ammunition inside the magazine or, if it's backed by a strong magazine spring, you could even knock loose a round to try to jump into the chamber prematurely. Either of which will inevitably cause AR-15 jamming. This would be a great mechanic and dynamic that makes the player weigh the risks of using it in a tight situation or not. Risk a gun jam / misfire or club them down with primitive weapons? The player has the choice to take the risk. I commented about the AR-15 in another discussion as well. It is viable provided Endnight execute it properly.
I mean, did the game get worse than The Forest? The answer to that is subject to opinion. . They are different games that do things differently. Expecting SOTF to be like TF is a bit of a stretch. They can't be the same kinds of games because they were never intended to be the same.
Remember, these are your opinions and views on the game. It doesn't mean it is true or fact. It's subjective to the player's desires and preferences.
It's early days. It's Early Access. Give it some time.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_firearm that's a wikipedia link explaining what an automatic weapon is. Both semi and fully automatic guns are types of automatic firearms. The terms semi-automatic and fully automatic are NOT made up terms like the other guy was saying, but they are both a type of automatic self-loading firearm.
Apart from that, I think the game would benefit from a semi or full auto modern rifle, such as an M4 or HK416, solely for the sake of more choices in weaponry. If you didn't want to use it, you'd simply have the choice of not picking it up. I see no reason not to have more variety when none of it is forced on the player and is all fully optional to use.
What sons of the forest needs is for the flintlock and hairspray to return.
But yeah, I don't actually expect any more content to be added to SOTF.
i want more games to have guns that have more unique and fun mechanics than a bazillion of cookie cutter shotguns and SMGs we already have in every game that differ from eachother only in their models and stats
Perhaps your familiar with Hunt Showdown the guns seem to be more interesting in it .. its multiplayer person vs person
