maybe im overhyped but we havent seen an AR or have we? i dont really known but The AR could be op and usefull or at least a sniper would be perfect please vote.

i wouldnt mind seeing a SMG but idk about a sniper, if you ask me i feel like the bows kinda of fit that role as a sniper, i also wouldnt mind seeing some sort of home made grenade launcher tho considering that there does seem to be grenades in a screenshot of the games inventory menu, maybe have it only be buildable if you find schematics or parts for it but that is just a thought.

Assault weapons don't really fit in this game. Shotguns, revolvers and maybe a pistol should, in my opinion, be as far as they go with firearms. Stuff with relatively short range and low ammo capacity.

yes they do? they fit perfectly into the storyline. why would a bunch of mercs not take any automatic weapons with them? that would be retarded

It might fit in that way, but what I'm saying is that they'd be massively overpowered. The cannibals wouldn't be a threat if you could eviscerate 10+ in less than two seconds. It's supposed to be haunting, scary, dangerous. It wouldn't be dangerous if with the click of a button you could slaughter entire groups of people.

If they add any type of automatic gun, I think it will be an M4 carbine, with the option to make it semi auto and full auto. I don’t think an automatic gun is out of the question considering there’s also hand grenades in the image, so whoever sends you is authorized to have them, or military equipment is on the island

Assuming a 9mm is what the bullets are I could also see an MP5 being a sub machine gun, blow the lungs right out of their bodies

they are mercenaries, not soldiers of any nation. so they would use whatever the hell they wanted to use. and the m4 is a very versatile and solid platform, so its probable they would use the m4 over whatever nasty euro crap the canadians use.

The Canadian military uses another version of the M16 called Colt Canada C7 rifle, but at the same time it has M4 vibes.

The shotgun they use appears to be a Mossberg 590 shockwave or a remmington 870 Tac-14 which are both American shotguns. Although this may be a Canadian group, it seems the Canadian military and other groups don’t exactly restrict themselves to only their own nations equipment

However now that you mention Canada, the sniper scope does look like it comes from a Colt C19 which is Canadian

I think that’s dynamite. It could also be C4 charges. It looks like in that area there’s Molotovs, flares, and then those which are throwables, to the left of those three being the craftable bombs
