Can you save backgrounds to hot key scenes?

I typically use the Color Picker background (set to black) with "transparent in capture" turned on when capturing OBS. I'd like to set up hotkeys to occasionally switch to different background though, but whenever I try to switch back to Color Picker with a background change hotkey it brings up the palette choice box in the middle of the screen, which I have to tab into VTube Studio to turn off.

The item scenes for hotkeys work great for turning items on and off. Is there a way to save backgrounds to a scene like you can with items?

Or a way to set the color picker background (black background, transparency on) as a default so it doesn't always ask to change the color whenever it's pressed?

I know there is a virtual camera work around for getting menus to not show up in obs, but I'd prefer not to use that. I just want transparent background on a hotkey I can quickly switch back and forth from.

I could add an option for that. But if you're using Spout2 for capture (highly recommended), menus should never show up in the capture in the first place.

If you're on Windows, I would recommend always using Spout2. It's the most performant and convenient out of all capture options available in OBS.
