How do I scale items
the document just keeps saying I can but not how to, and the forum search history comes up empty.

Just put your mouse pointer over the item, hold [CTRL] and scroll.

control and scroll turns it, it doesn't scale it.

ahh maybe it isn't alt and I just scrolled while alt isn't a modifier. No problem though, thanks for the help.
