cannot get the "Microphone settings" To work after recent update

After the last update, I cannot figure out how to get the microphone settings to work. When I "Preview Audio" I can hear myself perfectly fine, the bars also move as well showing that the application is absolutely hearing my voice, it's just it isn't lipsyncing with it.


I have tried literally everything, checking drivers, uninstalling, verifying files, turning the pc on and off, I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to fix this problem, but nothing works. I even did a full wipe of the application which sucked because I had to redo all hotkeys for toggles and it STILL does not work correctly.


If anyone has any idea what might be wrong here, I would absolutely love to hear it because I just feel helpless at this point. I just do not know where to go from here, and I feel like my content is going to suffer from the less realistic dubbing on my characters mouth.

Take a look into your parameter list at the Mouth Open and Mouth Smile parameter. It should normally have "MouthOpen" and "MouthSmile" as standard input if i remember correctly. If you want your volume also opening the mouth additionally while talking, then the input should be set to "VoiceVolumePlusMouthOpen" and "VoiceFrequencyPlusMouthSmile"

Hey, so that does work. But it doesn't look for Phoneme so it doesn't open the mouth in a way that matches the voice sound. It's a good replacement, but I'm trying to figure out how to use the actual microphone setting.

The voice lipsync system only controls the parameters "VoiceVolumePlusMouthOpen" and "VoiceFrequencyPlusMouthSmile". How the "VoiceFrequencyPlusMouthSmile" is calculated based on the phonemes can be configured by clicking the phoneme squares. That's all the voice lipsync system does.
