using a smartphone like a webcam?
this looks great have a tablet and a smartphone for use

how can use for like a webcam for capture?

any clue how to get it to work? I downloaded the app on my droid and on windows and go it up and running, but when I select the webcam on this Vtube app it just shows a blank white screen for the webcam part and nothing ever shows up.

tryng using, but can made works, recommended use usb 3.0 port for better capture

need unlock the "development mode" and active "USB debug"first, next detect the phone with the windows version 1st, when is detected appears in the software (both versions, phone & windows app), next detect the phone with the software (usually is the cam2) and wait for the calibration screen

Done, can now record and add to obs or similar for capture

I already did all of that though that's why I'm asking for help. All I get is a white screen after doing all of that.

Try selecting the DroidCam camera in OBS. Does it actually properly show the video stream?
