Virtual cam not installing

When I try to install virtual webcam it asks for admin permissions but then It does nothing more, the console window closes immediately. What could be causing this?. Im using windows 10

I had the same issue. I had to go in to the files and make Vtube Studio run as admin when opened to get it to install.

Just tried to run the app as admin, but still not working.
So far I just record the window as Game Capture
I'm waiting for bug fix of this one.

Could you try running "Install.bat" manually as Administrator like this?

Running the install.bat as admin did actually work.

Got it, thanks. I'll see what I can do to improve this. Worst case I'll just add instructions on the UI.

I think the problem is that depending on your security settings, Windows may block the admin privilege request coming from VTS if it and Steam aren't both started as admin.

That could be, I run Steam as admin as well and have for a long time so I don't even think about it anymore... ^^

So for me just getting VTS as admin fixed it.
