a question about creating a character

i know that vtube studio doesnt have options to actually create a character, but i am still wondering how difficult this undertaking may be. i was pointed in the direction of something called "live2d" im wondering if anyone has used this before and what exactly is involved in the creation process before i buy it. im unskilled in this field and im wondering if an average joe has the capability to create using this service. thank you.

And yes, you can absolutely learn how to use Live2D and make models yourself. There are many tutorials on YouTube.
