how to set up IOS and OBS VTube studio?

i am tech stupid and there's no good video tutorials that i could find on youtube to help me set up a reliable VTube studio rig so to speak. no, i do not have a camera as an alternative, i only have my iphone.

any resources on how to create a custom but simple avatar without messing around with 2dlive?

also, if anyone has any tips to get the stream chat to stay visible and consistently up to date during streams so that youtube viewers can follow along with the conversation later, that'd be much appreciated. i keep fighting with the chat every stream and i can't seem to find a solution for it.
