Installing virtual webcam failed - regsvr32 problem

I noticed the virtual webcam is not showing up.
When trying to run the Install.bat file as administrator, I get the following error.

- Uninstalling old 32-bit driver.
'regsvr32' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
X Error - Failed to uninstall old 32-bit driver.

- Uninstalling old 64-bit driver.
'regsvr32' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
X Error - Failed to uninstall old 64-bit driver.

- Installing 32-bit driver.
'regsvr32' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
X Error - Failed to install 32-bit driver.

- Installing 64-bit driver.
'regsvr32' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
X Error - Failed to install 64-bit driver.

When I manually run cmd as administrator and try the regsvr32 command, it works fine. But if I cd in the Vtube Studio folder, it won't recognize it anymore.

It feels like this is probably an issue with my pc and not the install file itself, but I can't find any solution.
So got any help? ^^

Normally VTS should install that automatically during the first start. Perhaps you could try uninstalling and re-installing VTS?

Reinstalling it doesn't seem to have helped as it still doesn't show up in OBS when I activate the virtual webcam. Trying to run the installer file again also results in the same error :I

Does the virtual webcam show up in OBS but doesn't work or does it not show up in OSB at all?

It doesn't show up at all. Also OBS isn't the problem, it also doesn't show up in other things like discord

Perhaps you accidentally deleted your "system32" folder from the Windows PATH variable, so the webcam script can't find the "regsvr32" file that should be inside of it?

Can you check your PATH system variable and make sure your system32 folder is properly listed there?

That was indeed the issue, no idea why it wasn't there.
After running the script, everything working now.
