VTS Lag when tabbed in-game

Prior to Sunday's update, everything was fine

After the update, when I am tabbed in-game, I see on OBS that my model is dropping frames/lagging as I move.

The game's frames are fine and I have not done anything to change my system.

I tried updating my GPU driver, no change

This happens on FFXIV and Overwatch.

When I lower my game's resolution (from 1440p to 1080p) the model lags less but I still have some lag as I move

I am running:
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700K Base Clock 3.60GHz, maximum clock speed of 4.90GHz
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz
GPU: ASUS ROG RTX 2080 Super Strix OC 8GB
Misc: Intel Optane 16GB M10

VTS is running on a SSD.

Is there a fix? Or can I rollback?

Which GPU driver are you on currently? Is it 522.25?

I was on 522.25, I updated my driver today to 526.86 and I am still having laggy frames when tabbed in-game as I look through my OBS preview

Did a clean install of the driver, messed around with the suggested recommendations on the Discord and the github yet I'm still having this issue

I am having the same issue, when in app- it's all smooth and perfect, but as soon as I tab out the frames are no where to be found.

Especially the part "Turn of all "performance improvement" apps (MSI AfterBurner, Norton, BullGuard, etc.)"

Norton/BullGuard recently changed something about their "game optimizer" thing that causes that exact issue you're describing, so maybe that's it?
