Does this program have a transparent background I can use?
Was wanting to use this to stream if thats alright and I was wondering if theres a way to turn off the background because it covers up my games.
Thanks! ~ Yeddy :happy_yeti:

Yes, there's a transparent background. See this page for more info:

Section "Recording with OBS (transparent background)". If you have any questions about that, I'd recommend asking in the VTube Studio Discord: https://discord.gg/VTubeStudio

You're replying to one year old thread, the page has been updated since then.

yeahhh and its not at all correct. OBS currently lacks any such "allow transparency" setting. you have to use chroma key.

You don't need any chroma keying in OBS. What kind of capture are you using? The OBS settings for transparent "Game Capture" or "Spout2 Capture" are on this page (check the screenshots):

Those are only available on Windows though. On macOS, use NDI for transparent capture.

It's a cool option for OBS, but is there options for combining avatar with other programs? I want to see a vtuber's avatar when I'm playing games (not streaming) or showind my screen to friends in Discord.
