Just got a new webcam because the old one kept freezing when I used the model(It was just a faulty webcam).
The new one however doesn't even seem to really work either. As I can selected it. But It doesn't track my face.

same thing is happening to me. ill boot it up and my webcam just wont be tracking. so far the only fix i've found is to go scorched earth and delete the files (making sure ive saved anything important elsewhere) verify integrity and then re-add the copied files. it doesnt even always guarantee that it'll be fixed

If any of you clean up vts_config.json and webcam_calibration* files inside \VTube Studio_Data\StreamingAssets\Config, those will be recreated again upon boot.

You don't need to delete all files :)

been a while, issue still persisting. any other recommendations?

Found the problem on mine, I was using a USB extension cord. Plugging it into a USB 3.0 port was the only way I got it to work.

Finally solved the problem, the camera has to be connected to usb3.0, if people don't know it just switch to other ubs ports, thank you!
