Camera does not start.

Whenever i click on "Camera On", it simply does not start at all. It doesn't do anything, just dont start. I tested my camera in other aplications, it does work normaly, but not in VTube Studio. Im using Windows 10

Do you have any errors showing up in the logs? Check the "Logs" folder next to your "Live2DModels" folder.

I'm having a similar issue. When I turn on the webcam, the calibrate window is a white square. Looking through the log it seems like my webcam wasn't found, but there's no reason why so I'm at a loss. I should note that I'm using my DSLR with a webcam utility. It works alright for most other applications, but maybe it's just not compatible with VTube Studio?

I've attached the relevant parts of my log below. Could I trouble you to take a look? There's a 50% chance I'm a dumb-dumb and missed something very obvious.

I don't know if it's gonna help, but i noticed that if I start another software that is using my webcam (like obs for example) before i start VTube Studio, then VTS doesn't seem to see my webcam at all.
Best was to solve this is to start VTS before you start streaming/recording software, i think

I'm also having trouble with VTubeStudio not recognizing my web camera.

When I first installed it, it recognized the webcam fine.
(And I was very impressed!).
However, the next day when I started it, it stopped recognizing the webcam.

When I turn on webcam tracking, I get a blank white window with "0 FPS, Confidence: 0%". Confidence: 0%".

My web camera operation log is as follows.

I tried other webcams I have, but I could not get them to work.
I can use all of these webcams in all applications except VTubeStudio.

It is a very amazing software and I want to get it working somehow!

Try running VTS before any other apps like OBS to make sure no other app is sneakily using the camera. Also try rebooting. If you keep having this issue, please bring it up in the VTS Discord and @ me.

Hi there Denchi. Your contribution to Apple community is really appreciated and your software looks awesome.

In my case as some other users, had some problems with the cam detection and got tired of trying without any results. Right now I don't have the log activity for pasting, but do you think it has something to do with my OS which is High Sierra 10.13?

I also had this problem but I was able to fix it.
I simply closed discord (make sure its also closed in the taskbar notification area) and my camera worked again.
I had the same problems with other programs where discord was causing problems with the camera.
Maybe this helps!

I am having this issue as well on Mac (I am also High Sierra). I've been looking all over for a solution since my Webcam works in other applications but not in this. I even closed Discord to make sure it wasn't accessing it but my webcam light is off except for when I launch it in other applications like Photo Booth or Discord.

Not sure if this helps for Mac users, but for Windows, my wasn't working because CIS was blocking it, maybe your antivirus/firewall has the same problem.
