The Xbox controller's triggers are set up to react with how much pressure is applied, relative to the analog sticks. By these means, they're set up on an axis. When you have the "driver" set up for Xbox controllers, you're able to test the axes and you should be able to set them to a certain button. I can't precisely remember how to set it up to work as mouse movement/clicks though. I think you'd have better luck with that on Google.
Hey now, Don't be mean. If someone prefer's and likes to play a game with a controller then there is nothing wrong with that, Even when unreal came out gamepads and contollers existed. Remember that.
Now, As for controller support. You're best bet is to use the Pinnacle Game Profiler, It -should- do as said as the research i put into it said so. Best of luck friend!

Thanks for the response, but it provided no help to me whatsoever. I beat this game back in 1998 when the game came out playing on a Windows 95 so I don't think I'm too young for this game. PWND
