Which Unreal has biggest playerbase?

I like game as played it as kid but now am looking for MP experience

Well, according to Steam Charts... this one. However, it only accumulates the playerbase for Steam, but since I've played almost all of them - UT2K4 and UT still have a few servers running games regularly, although be prepared for total pro competition. These guys don't spare anyone.

There's also free Unreal Tournament that you can play in Epic Games Launcher

UT2004 is probably the most active that i've seen by far.

UT99 is far more active then then this game. The only reason UG has has 'alot' of players right now its because it was free on GOG.

UT99 is also the far better MP game with better networking code.

After that its 2004.

Also, just an FYI, 99 and 2004 have way more players outside of steam.
