UnrealEd - THREED32.OCX not registered
I was able to load UnrealEd for Unreal Gold before, but now it's telling me "Component 'THREED32.OCX' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid" and I can't find any helpful information online on how to fix this. Any ideas?

Are you using the latest version of Unreal (227i) from www.oldunreal.com?

Contained below is some information regarding the patch.

The version you need for the steam installation is 227i for Unreal Gold/Unreal Anthology.

The patch fixes a catalogue of problems that are present when using the game on more modern systems, and also updates the editor to a newer version (UnrealEd 2.1) and adds an extensive list of new supported features for mappers/modders/modellers to make use of (these features do not alter the base game, but they are support for content creators to make use of them).

The only new features which change the base game are visual (though these features were originally planned during Unreals' development), which are character/actor shadows and blood/projectile decals and are entirely supplementary/disableable from advanced options/normal options.

Oh. No, I didn't, but now I've installed that patch and the editor works again. Thank you for the help and the information.

Try running as Administrator Unreal.exe or download this file. It looks like this file might be related to Unreal Editor 1. I had the same issues with running JJ3D Unreal Editor Tech Demo.
