Anti Tank Rifle Nerf?

Using the AT Rifle for the Germans in the Stalingrad campaign, I've put countless rounds into enemy vehicles and haven't killed a single one. 7 rounds in the rear of a tank and it just turns around and mows me down with it's machine gun.

I've always felt like its been weak against certain vehicles. If you are attempting to fight off a T 34 or Kv 1. Expect a hard time cracking that armor from all angles. You'd probably be better off using an anti tank grenade or gun.

I wonder if you can take it down with hatch hits on top of the tank

I remember killing crew members with it but havent played Stalingrad in a few months. try to hit the armor head on a flat side to reduce the chance of it ricochet

Use the at rifle only to detrack heavier tanks like t34. Shoot at the tracks to immobilize the tank. Then kill enemy crews who exit to fix the tank until no crews left. Or use the opportunity to get close and throw at grenade that can kill any tank.
At rifle seems to be only capable against light tanks most of the time. You can check each tank armor value and each at weapon penetration value in the shooting range.

i just use AT rifle up close and against the flat side (not angled). also, the flat side shouldnt be angled away from you. its pretty good at that.

alternatively, just shoot the tracks with ur at and use ur primary to shoot off those that try to repair it.
