Crossplay ON PS5?

I have searched up and down Steam Forums, Store Pages, Reddit, Google, etc. I see that there is Crossplay between PC and Xbox players, and Crossplay for Switch if PC players download a specific branch of the game. I am not concerned about this.
What I am concerned about is whether or not Crossplay is available for PS5 players? Will I be able to play with my friend who owns this game on Steam with my Playstation?
To further clarify, can I join my friend on PC from my PlayStation 5?
I would really like to buy this game, but only to play with my friend. Thank you so much.

Hello,

Crossplay is available for all platforms, however who play from Steam needs to use the crossplay version as the default version might sometimes be more ahead with updates.
