How do you swap squad members with a controller?
The tutorial is too vague, what the hell do I do?

The left menu of the tutorial tells you what key you have to press or hold during the tutorial. In case of a gamepad you have to hold START

I saw but it's too vague. It looks nothing like either button. It would of been better if it said you use the start button or if the tutorial prompt looked like the start button.

The UI display the start icon depending on your controller, as required by official gamepads guidelines. If you use a generic controller or if you have Steam Input enabled, then the Xbox start button icon is shown (≡).

For whatever reason, on my Xbox, the button looked nothing liked that. It was very frustrating.

I'm just saying the older controllers had a different start button

I know, I was a 360 kid growing up, but the button he used for Xbox controllers didn't even look like a 360 one.
