...it's just... not always the case. In case of accuracy this is absolutely good because given the scale of average firefights in this game you wouldn't stand a chance.
They can be surprising. They can provide a realistic Omaha Beach experience.
But they also tend to bunch up (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ style) or look at you without attacking you, randomly, like if there was some broken grace period. They can be blind having you in the open and they can mow you down through foliage like The Predator with his thermals.
Just random fails from time to time.
But most of the time, esp. if you'll up the difficulty, you should have a decent time.
It's still one of the best WW2 games made in the last 10 years, right after Day of Infamy.
And equally awesome, despite AI sometimes being very A and not really I.
CONS; they won't chase you around a corner to finish you off as they'll stop targeting you as soon as your out of sight. In close quarters they have slow reactions half the time with surprise encounters. They don't really use tactics. Just run to objectives and shoot/throw grenades at any enemies along the way. Both enemies and allies don't move around the objective to make sure it's all clear. You have to do that yourself.
Regardless, the way missions are setup I still find them fun to play against. The bots can still be ruthless and their randomness does make it different each time even when repeating the same missions. While you're running and gunning, bombs are going off, buildings are getting blown to bits, gunfire is going everywhere, tanks and planes are getting around,, it can be total chaos. My go to single player shooters use to be the borderlands and fallout games. Now it's just Easy Red 2.
It's not bad, but it's not good. And some areas of the game, the AI feels like it's 10/10. Other areas of AI behaviour are 0/10 tier.
