Hide Objective & Unit Icons?

Is there a way I can hide these? It's a pain in the butt when I'm trying to aim at enemies in the distance and these take up most of my screen, I don't need instructions on where to go and if I needed them I think I'd rather just look at my map.

In a similar realm, I would prefer dynamic icons where I press T or tab (or whatever button) and the icons pop up then go away after 2-3 seconds. Sometimes its hard to know what objectives you have captured or if youre in a capture/hold point as the map doesnt have that info.
