But we cant even crouch, move at all to avoid being hit. Especially with the latest DLC, we have to wait for the animation to finish while the enemies can open fire on us the whole time. Yes it might be historically accurate but in this instance it hurts the gameplay
If you want to talk realism, they wouldn't have been just standing with their heads in view waiting to get shot either
I get that completely, my issue is just gameplay. I want to note this is just something I'm noticing with the normandy DLC but for example there are times when I'm waiting to finally interact with the game then my whole team and myself get wiped out before even reaching the shore. Then I have to wait again for the next boat to arrive and hope we all don't wiped over something that we can't control. I get the immersion factor but this is also a game. When I put on a game I want to play it, I want to interact with it. I've never had an issue with the games difficulty, I just object to being killed before I can actually start playing.
I NEVER asked for cheating mate. Read the post again.
An on-rails shooter with moments of invincibility? I NEVER mentioned anything like that at all. You literally took some words I said and made up your own sentence.
No, I was simply pointing out that things like invincibility often lead to moments of on-rails gameplay. The two coincide with each other. Stop being so defensive with everyone who disagrees with your notion that the game needs to hold your hand more. Again NO you didn't use the term "hold your hand" and NO I'm not putting words in your mouth. But hand holding is what you get when you start doing things like invincibility in FPS games. Stop feeling so personally attacked. No one is here to attack you.
