And there are other tings in the story that make no sense to me.
1 Why did Tiare want to explore the abyss so badly?
2 If Tiare is on death door why challenge us at the end?
3 If Tiare relic is 1 why remove both eyes?
4 Prushka dialogue after the fight make no sense. Why did she decide we don't need help anymore?
It's a great game and i had a lot of fun but story is somewhat prevedible if you know from the start how white wistles are made and the build up of the rapport with Tiare should have taken more time.
I was supposed to care about Tiare beause he saved us but what if he did it only to turn us into a white wistle?
I only felt suspicion toward Tiare to the very end.
As for Tiare and so on....I understand he wanted to go against the old guy and either see the abyss himself, or as a whistle of the MC. Don't really care much about the story myself, though, so I won't pretend to be the judge of whether it's good or not.
1. He wanted to live his life to the fullest even though he was dying
2. because he knew he had to die, and wanted the pc to be the one to do it
3. this is the only one that made no sense
4. she didnt decide we didnt need help, she asked if the PC didnt want/need the help she asked bondrewd for
If you paid attention to the dialogue youd have figured all that out without trying.
1 Maybe. When trying to give myself an explanation i tought it may be a side effect of the relic similar to Rico with the white cube one.
Surely Tiare sounded entusiastic about the exploration when the 2 characters got lost in the cave.
Still i belive this should have been explained better. Rico is an extremly strange character but the story explain why. Tiare is similar to Rico in his absolute drive.
2 The fact that he is dying dosen't really explain why he attack us.
Your explanation is plausible but is your explanation not the game.
The last dialogue made it sound like Tiare wanted to go on not simply leave tings to us.
I'm referring to the conversation that run before entering the "last dive" device.
4 Maybe i should re read it but i did pay attention and it was confusing.
The way I saw it, Tiare was the one that wanted the white whistle. If they had killed you, then you would've been turned into a white whistle and Tiare would either have given you to Detchuanga, or have continued further down the Abyss. Knowing how the lure of the Abyss works, it most likely would've been the latter.
However, Tiare also didn't mind the other outcome if it came to it.
So Tiare attacked us because they wanted to turn us into the white whistle.
