Does it matter what kind of food you give her as long as its not disgusting? does what she give you always end up random? only thing ive ever gotten from her is antidotes in exchange, not sure if it was a thoughtless minor quest, or if i'm missing something.

I think she gives you a slightly better food item, if it's a good dish. With crappy dishes she'd usually give antidotes. Really annoying to have to decline her request everytime you just want to buy something from the caravan tho...
